• Parents and caregivers of teens (13-18yo) who could benefit from a safe, supportive space with other parents experiencing parenting related stressors, including but not limited to:

    • Teen child(ren) diagnosed with mental health disorder(s) and/or with emotional and behavioral functioning concerns.

    • Difficulty connecting and communicating with your teen.

    • Unsure of what parenting style to use; struggles around use of discipline and consequences.

    • Social media and technology influence.

    • Feeling overwhelmed by the demands of being a parent and maintaining other areas of your life

  • Parents and caregivers with a desire to strengthen the parent-child relationship and improve overall family dynamics.

This Group is For:

  • Small, intimate, virtual group sessions of no more than 8 participants.

  • Learn and practice skills for stress management (ex. mindfulness, relaxation, emotion regulation, and executive functioning skills).

  • Psychoeducation of child/teen development, and its intersection with today’s cultural climate, social media, and technology.

  • Learn elements of various evidenced-based parent-focused interventions, including but not limited to:

    • Parent Management Training (PMT)

    • Positive Parenting (Triple P)

    • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Parent Training

    • Circle of Security

  • Support and validation from other parents who “get it”.

What to Expect:

  • Cost: $50/ group session (10 sessions total).

  • Payment Options:

    • Package 1: Pay half of the group sessions up front ($250), then the remainder due by half-way through the group course.

    • Package 2: Pay all 10 sessions up front for 15% off ($425 total), valuing each group session at $42.50.

  • Payment Methods:

    • I accept most major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) and ACH direct debit.

    • I do not accept cash or checks.

  • Note: This group cannot be billed for by insurance. The Parent Skills & Support group course is for the purpose of providing parental support and psychoeducation, not to target a specific diagnosis. Participants do not need to have a mental health diagnosis or current engagement in their own individual therapy.
